SPARES
SERVICE
The Club runs a comprehensive spares service, covering both new
and second-hand parts for pre-war and post-war models. An ongoing
remanufacturing programme ensures that owners will continue to
be able to run their cars in the future. All parts which the Club
produces are made to original factory specifications - something
no other supplier can claim.
SOCIAL
ACTIVITIES
Club activities include a busy social calendar, ensuring that
the whole family can enjoy the pleasures of owning an Armstrong
Siddeley. This can be reinforced by family membership which entitles
any two members of a family to join at reduced rates, with two
votes at Club meetings.
As
well as local and national events, members arrange holiday rallies,
for example France, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and
Luxembourg have all been toured by members on rally holidays.
AN
ESSENTIAL RESOURCE FOR RESTORERS
For anyone restoring an Armstrong Siddeley, Club membership is
invaluable. Local area meetings provide an unrivalled opportunity
to meet fellow members and discuss restoration difficulties. Likewise
the monthly Sphinx magazine publishes useful technical tips and
provides a shop window for the sale of members' cars and surplus
spares. The Club runs a Technical Helpline staffed by members
who themselves have restored Siddeleys. Someone somewhere in the
Club will be able to help you solve that tricky restoration problem!
MONTHLY
MAGAZINE
The Sphinx magazine, which is published monthly (actually eleven
times a year) is the main communications medium for the Club,
giving details of Club events, historical and technical articles,
spares availability and For Sale and Wants lists.
CLUB
MERCHANDISE
The Club offers a good range of merchandise, including personalised
accessories and Siddeley-related books.
WORKSHOP
MANUALS & HANDBOOKS
The Club library includes a wide range of original workshop manuals,
handbooks and brochures as well as Company technical notes. Copies
are available to members and it is possible to research the library
by arrangement.
PRODUCTION
RECORDS & AUTHENTICITY CHECKS
We have a full set of original Armstrong Siddeley production records,
which allows us to establish the authenticity of particular cars,
and we are authorised by the DVLC to verify applications for DVLC
re-registrations.
