SIDDELEY PUMA AERO ENGINE

Designed in 1916 and delivering around 250hp, theSiddeley Puma aero engine powered the De Havilland DH-9 bomber. It was a straight-six, water-cooled, 18 litre unit. The same basic engine powered the widely-exported Vickers Armstrong 6 ton tank, developed in the mid 1920s.
